Over the last ten years, nothing from the world of sports has escaped the author’s keen eye. He has been a firsthand witness to countless highs and lows. He saw the dark shadow of betting fall over Test cricket, and he also witnessed the farewell of two titans of Indian cricket—Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly.

From Sourav Ganguly, the “Dada” of Indian cricket, to his immensely popular television avatar in Zee Bangla’s Dadagiri, the author has closely followed and chronicled every step of the journey.

And when Indian football was struggling under the scorching sun, the Indian Super League (ISL) arrived like a refreshing shower, breathing new life into the game. The author became deeply intertwined with that transformation as well.
